For the first time in CCSD history, a summer commencement ceremony Wednesday celebrated the accomplishments of students who spent the summer completing proficiency exams and making up credits to earn their diplomas.

The ceremony took place Wednesday morning in the theater at Las Vegas Academy in the downtown area.
