More than 100 volunteers gathered at Symphony Park at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts to create a human ribbon to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.
The volunteers wore red to create the iconic AIDS ribbon.
Golden Rainbow, a nonprofit dedicated to helping men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada, organized the event Monday morning. It marked the 27-day countdown to the 27th annual Ribbon of Life spectacular set for Sunday, June 30.
The spectacular features some of the best performers from productions on the Las Vegas Strip. It is one of the biggest fundraisers for the charity, which provides financial support to HIV/AIDS patients in need.
