LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Officials have identified the driver at fault in a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 95 that shut down four lanes of traffic.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 5 a.m. Friday in the south bound lanes, south of Valley View Boulevard.

The driver of a Toyota 4Runner SUV who died after being ejected from the vehicle is identified as 21-year-old Keaton Layne Niday from Las Vegas.

Authorities say the SUV was speeding when it switched lanes and collided with a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

The two vehicles both flipped, coming to rest in the right lane.

A Toyota Camry also hit debris in the crash.

Highway patrol said in a statement that the SUV was at fault and that Niday was not wearing a seat belt.
