LAS VEGAS -- A federal jury convicted a female getaway driver in connection with the robberies of 13 banks and stores in Southern Nevada from December 2012 to March 2013, Nevada's U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden said.

Sesley Williams, 46, of Las Vegas, was convicted Friday of eight counts of bank robbery, five counts of interference with commerce by robbery and five counts of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. Williams is scheduled for sentencing before U.S. District Judge Andrew Gordon May 21.

She faces up to 20 years in prison on each robbery count and a mandatory minimum 107 years behind bars on the brandishing counts, which must run consecutively to the sentences for the other counts.

Co-defendant Anthony Jordan was convicted by a jury in November of 13 counts of robbery and firearm-related charges, and is scheduled to be sentenced March 19.

The duo robbed six banks, three outlet malls and one other store in Las Vegas, two banks in Henderson, and an outlet mall store in Primm.

This case was investigated by Metro Police and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lisa Cartier-Giroux.
