LAS VEGAS -- The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon returns to Las Vegas this weekend. The race will result in major street closures on Sunday.

The marathon and half-marathon start at 4:30 p.m. and it's expected there will be 36,000 runners. The rolling closures along the 26.2 mile course will begin at 10 a.m. and last until midnight.

The marathon course will take runners from Mandalay Bay, along the Las Vegas Strip, north to Fremont Street, west to Martin Luther King Boulevard on Grand Central and Symphony Park, north to Brooks Avenue and then reverse. At one point, runners will go through a neighborhood on the reverse course at Mount Mariah Drive.

The closures will involve numerous streets and freeway on and off ramps. Click here for a list of the closures. Click here for a course map and how to access properties along the Las Vegas Strip.
