LAS VEGAS — The Clark County Fire Department said it was investigating bushes set on fire next to an apartment complex near Flamingo Road and Decatur Boulevard.

The incident happened just before 1 p.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Van Dyke Avenue.

According to the fire department, when firefighters arrived, the fire had spread from the bushes and had entered the eaves and attic space of the building.

The fire was under control in 10 minutes and caused an estimated $10,000 in damages, the fire department said.

Metro police were questioning three juveniles in connection with the fire, officials said. It was unclear if they were witnesses or if they were responsible for starting the blaze.

No one was hurt.
