Lindsey's car crashed into the patio dining area of the Egg & I restaurant.

LAS VEGAS --  Bail for the teen accused of crashing his car into a Las Vegas restaurant and injuring 10 people has been set at $500,000.

Gage Lindsey, 18, made his initial court appearance at Las Vegas Justice Court Thursday morning. His attorney said he will plead not guilty.

Lindsey is facing charges of DUI, felony reckless driving and felony hit and run for the crash that occurred on Monday, April 1. His vehicle hit two cars and crashed into the front of the Egg & I diner on Sahara Avenue near Arville Road. Three of the 10 people hurt suffered substantial injuries.

Lindsey's arrest report shows he passed a breathalyzer test but later admitted to driving, blacking out, and taking drugs without a prescription. Authorities are waiting for the results of a blood test.

Police said Lindsey tried to toss a pill away and run from the scene before he was tackled by witnesses.

Lindsey is due back in court April 11.
