Home Rescue Fair to Help with Foreclosure Questions

Residents facing foreclosure can receive some much-needed help during a Home Rescue Fair on Friday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Grand Ballroom at the Palace Station Hotel Casino, 2411 W. Sahara Ave.

Residents will be able to take advantage of face-to-face sessions with loan specialists, housing counselors, and attorneys, as well as take part in informative workshops. In addition to one-on-one meetings with lenders, attendees will also benefit from resources available where they can gain helpful information from a number of local services in areas such as education, job placement, and public benefits, among others.

The event is being organized locally by Housing For Nevada and nationally by the Alliance for Stabilizing Communities, which is a national partnership including the National Urban League (NUL), National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD), with the support of Bank of America. The city of Las Vegas is one of the sponsors of the event, which is designed to provide homeowners facing financial hardship with the resources they need to help them stay in their homes.

Homeowners are encouraged to pre-register for the event by calling 229-HOME. Please bring the following documents to the fair:
