Autumn Plant Sale Set for Springs Preserve | Home & Garden
The Springs Preserve is offering desert-adapted plants for sale at its annual Autumn Plant Sale Saturday.
The sale will feature nearly 3,000 plants that are either native to southern Nevada or drought-tolerant. A variety of sizes will be available from 2 inches to 5 gallons, along with some larger plants. There will also be a wide variety of prices from $3 for small wildflowers up to $50 for larger plants.
Desert gardening experts will be on hand to help customers choose the right plant for their garden. There will also be food and beverage concessions. Customers should bring their own wagons to transport purchased plants back to their car.
The sale is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A special preview sale for members of the Springs Preserve will be from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Admission to the plant sale is free. Regular admission will be charged for access to the museums and galleries at the Springs Preserve.
