Vince Neil Kicks Off Free Summer Concert Series

Fremont Street Experience kicks off its summer concert series with a free concert with rock ‘n’ roll legend Vince Neil.

Neil takes the stage at 9 p.m. Saturday at the 3rd Street Stage. This concert will be part of a summer-long series called Rock of Vegas. The series includes 100 days of live entertainment under the canopy. For a complete list of headliners and nightly entertainment, go to vegasexperience.com.

Besides Neil, the weekend will be filled with music from the hair-band era. ROCK CANDY Sticky Sweet, Dirty Pairadice and ARENA will perform covers of the best of 80s stadium rock.

Barbecue and Blues Music at Wildfire Casinos

The Wildfire Gaming properties are offering a free event Saturday night.

The Barley’s Casino on Sunset Road will feature music from Threedom Rock. The Wildfire Rancho on North Rancho Drive will feature Scott Rhiner. The music will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

They will also be serving barbecue starting at 5 p.m.. The food will unlimited for $8.99. There is no charge to get into the event. The event is for people 21 years and older.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced a summer line-up, set to kick off in June, that includes legendary Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim, jazz songstress Diana Krall, instrumentalist Chris Botti, the multi-talented Steve Martin and a variety of other performers.
