Annual Plant Sale Comes to Springs Preserve
Annual Plant Sale Comes to Springs Preserve

You can save water and money at the Springs Preserve’s annual plant sale.

Local “green thumbs” will have their choice of more than 5,000 native and water-efficient plant varieties for purchase at the Spring Plant Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31.

Native and drought-tolerant plant species will be sold in container sizes ranging from 2 inches up to 5 gallons. In addition, Springs Preserve garden staff experts will be on hand to answer customer questions about how to care for their new plants.

Native plants use less water and require less maintenance than many other plant species. They also reduce environmental pollution, add curb appeal to residential landscapes and are havens for native birds and local wildlife.

Preceding the public event, Springs Preserve members can take advantage of a special preview sale from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The Springs Preserve is at 333 South Valley View Boulevard, between U.S. 95 and Alta Drive.

Admission to the plant sale in the Gardens Amphitheater is free. Regular admission prices will apply for access to museums and galleries at the Springs Preserve. Guests are encouraged to bring their own wagons to transport purchases to their vehicles.
