Up to 2,000 Meals for Homeless, Needy to be Served Sunday

 

A special Christmas dinner will be served Sunday afternoon for homeless and needy families in southern Nevada.

Sponsored by the Frank & Victoria Fertitta Foundation and the Dr. Elias & Jody Ghanem Charitable Foundation, in memory of Mr. Frank Fertitta, Jr. and Dr. Elias Ghanem, approximately 2,000 meals are expected to be served. The doors are open to anyone who would like to attend. More than 150 volunteers will serve the meals.

The Catholic Charities St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility has been serving meals to the community’s homeless and needy men, woman and children since 1965.

The dinner runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Catholic Charities St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility, 1501 Las Vegas Blvd North.
