Krave Moving from the Strip to Downtown Las Vegas

One of the largest and most successful gay nightclubs in the country is moving from its home on the Strip to downtown Las Vegas.

The owners of Krave are moving the club downtown and re-launching it as Krave Massive. It will be the world’s largest gay nightclub. The club will be taking over the 80,000-square-foot space that was once the Galaxy 11 multiplex on the third floor of the Neonopolis.

Besides five themed dance rooms and three separate bars, the new club will include a comedy club, a private lounge, a performing arts theater, a movie theater dedicated to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, a retail store and an outdoor pool.

“Although we have been in the same location for nearly eight years, I felt that it was time to explore a new model for gay nightlife, and it needed to be something big…really big,” Krave owner Kelly Murphy said. “And also some ‘gentle’ persuading from the Mayor helped!”

The club may also be linked to the country’s first drag queen bowling alley, Drink & Drag, which is one floor below.
