Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive back in May.

According to police, the man walked into the store at around 3:20 a.m. May 21 and selected a beverage from one of the coolers. When he came to the counter, he threw the bottles of liquor at the clerk, jumped onto the counter and started hitting the clerk in the face.

The man then grabbed a plastic garbage bag from one of the garbage cans and filled it with cigarettes. He jumped back over the counter and left the store.

The man police are looking for is described as a white man between 26 and 27 years old. He is 5 foot 8 with a medium build. He has brown, short hair and is described as clean cut.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket with a checker pattern design, a black T-shirt, khaki cargo pants and black shoes with white bottoms.  He was also wearing a black Chicago Bulls baseball cap.
