Bubble Run Set for Saturday, Will Disrupt Bus Service
Charity, Events

Downtown will host a new take on the 5K charity run this weekend.

The Bubble Run will start at 9 a.m. Saturday. Runners and walkers dress in white and make their way through the course which includes Bubble Bogs. The bogs are full of colored bubbles. By the time runners finish, they are covered in colored bubbles and foam.

The run will benefit the Sign Design Theatre Company, which helps to connect deaf and hearing children through theater using American Sign Language, and Project 150, which helps the hundreds of homeless students in the Clark County School District.

The bubble fun will disrupt some Regional Transportation Bus routes. From 2 a.m. to 2 p.m., the RTC will have to detour Route 108-Paradise, 109-Maryland Parkway, 113-MAX, 208-Washington, 215-Bonanza, 301-Deuce on the Strip and Boulder Highway Express.
