New Farmers Market Opens Next Week | Business
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A new farmers market in downtown Las Vegas will feature cooking demonstrations from local celebrity chefs and year-round access to fresh produce from California, Nevada and Utah.
The Downtown3rd Farmers Market is scheduled to open on March 9. It will be held every Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Casino Center Drive. Free parking will be provided.
The indoor market will also include a zone for children activities and food truck vendors.
Downtown has hosted other indoor farmer's market in recent years. The efforts are part of an ongoing movement to make downtown Las Vegas more attractive to local residents and investors.
